Yes.. I did it...
I've attained my Class 2A (201 - 400cc) Riding License despite 16 points deducted during the Traffic Police test. Most of my mistakes were from the General Riding section. I got to admit that the challenges are there for Class 2A as there were many cars around and the cars will not give way to Class 2A testees as it is a common mindset that Class 2A testees are considered experience in riding and have road experience. During the test, there were some hiccups and anxiety but all were overcome when I keep telling myself "Don't rush... Do it once, Do it good". Thanks to my constant "psycho-ing" that I managed to do my best and attained my third license.
Second Victory happened hours ago in Maju Camp. I was scheduled to take my annual IPPT this morning and prior to this test, I restricted my drinks and food intake and even fine tune my sleeping hours to make sure that I have enough rest. All efforts were paid off but I could not have made it alone. All thanks to WeiDian, a CDO comrade which I just got to know before the run and he said he is fine to pace me and keep me going.
The first 3 rounds were superb. I was running at 1 min 30 seconds (plus minus 5 seconds) constantly but fatigue starts to kick in when I was in my 4th round. From past experience, this is the moment where my mental has to overcome all possible distractions. From heavy breathing to heavy legs... you just have to tell yourself to maintain the pace on and on. Luckily, Weidian was behind me for the first 3 rounds and overtook me in the fourth round and I decided to run behind him and chase him all the way till the finishing line.
I came in at 9 mins 52 seconds and was very thrilled as it is my 2nd consecutive Gold for my reservist period.
The rest of the results for static stations are:
Chin up - 10 (5 points)
Situp - 36 (4 points)
Shuttle run - 9.5 sec (5 points)
Standing Board Jump - 234cm (5points)
To end this, I have to say my heartest thanks to those who have help me..
As the saying goes... "Tough Time don't last, Tough Men do...Do it once, Do it good"
