Recap of 2010.. Interesting and Challenging

Looking back for the year, I guessed 2010 will be the most significant change in my life. Perhaps this does not only happen to me because by 26 - 27, normal Singaporean guys would have finished their university education or chose to have a career switch at this point in time.

Jan to March:
I was still preparing for my university final paper. For that last module, I remembered the "unmotivated willingness" to study and conduct research project. But thank god, we still achieve an Distinction for that.

During the midst of this, I also managed to finish my 3rd ICT and had attained good reviews by my superior and commanders.

April to June:
Officially graduated from my studies. Enrolled on a international certification and exam based in Kuala Lumpur. Basically for that 3 months of post university studies, I was only concentrating on tackling the certification.

Had a short trip to KL for my certification and also to explore the capital of Malaysia.

July to August:
Officially attained my international certification. Final 2 months in my workplace in Sempra Oil Energy Trading. The thought of entrepreneur sparks me while I was eating my favourite Lor Mee at Jalan Bukit Ho Swee.

It was also this period of time where I received my promotion news from the army side. I was officially promoted to the rank of CPT.

During this point of time, I had enrolled for my PADI open water diving course at Tioman island, Eastern Malaysia. It was an eye opening activity to explore the underwater world. Did I mentioned we saw sea turtle swimming past us =)

September to November:
Full force on my business. Luckily along the way, I was also called up by Singapore Sports School for a position in their Strength & Conditioning unit. Thanks to the certification that makes me 1 level higher than normal graduate.

It was also this time that I went for my PADI Advance open water at South China Sea. It was a 3D2N living on board experience and I am really glad to have this opportunity to go there with some of my best buddies and experience nature to its max.

It was also this time that I went for my first oversea volunteering with a group of friends from City Harvest. From the trip, I was overwhelmed by how lucky I am as a Singaporean. I will definitely try my best to re-visit them again to help.

Whats next for the remaining of 2010 and 2011? I am quite excited and also preparing myself to embrace the difficulties I will face. Whether anot its in my business work, my higher education commitment, In Camp Trainings, traveling, financial plannings etc.. its time to really face it as a mature adult.

And also on second thought, Life is not the way it seems anymore.

Jiayou to everyone. Make everything that you do counts...
